Wirecut Engineer

Location:  Punjab, Haryana, himachal Pradesh

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Wirecut Engineer to operate and manage EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Wirecut machines with precision. The ideal candidate should be proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, performing accurate machining, and handling associated process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program Wirecut EDM machines as per drawing and design specifications
• Interpret and work from technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Prepare and maintain all process documentation, including job cards and inspection reports
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements
• Coordinate with design, QC, and tool room teams to meet job deadlines
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on Wirecut machinery
• Accurately track work-in-progress and report daily production output
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow safety protocols

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Tool & Die or related field
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Good understanding of ISO:9001:2015 documentation and shop-floor process flows
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of precision manufacturing and tooling components

Preferred Attributes:

• Hands-on experience in operating Wirecut (EDM) machines
• Familiarity with tolerances, machining sequences, and basic GD&T
• Ability to read and understand detailed technical drawings
