About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager with a strong background in Agrochemical production to lead and manage the overall plant operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations while driving performance, quality, compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Provide strategic leadership and direction for all plant operations.

✅ Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the plant with a focus on safety, productivity, and quality.

✅ Responsible for budgeting, production planning, inventory control, and cost optimization.

✅ Oversee maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency in line with statutory regulations.

✅ Drive continuous improvement in production output and reduce operational waste.

✅ Stay updated with the latest practices in production management and implement best practices.

✅ Represent senior management in external affairs including union handling, labor relations, and government compliance.

✅ Ensure recruitment, training, and development of plant personnel.

✅ Report directly to the DGM – Plant.

Candidate Requirements:

🎓 Education:

• BE/BTech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• MBA in Operations (preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office and production management tools

🛠️ Experience:

• Minimum 15 years in plant operations within the Agrochemical/Fertilizer sector only
• Proven expertise in leading large teams and handling complex operations
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
