Maintenance Engineer – Knit Fabric Dyeing & Processing Plant

Location: Ludhiana

Experience: 7 to 8 years (Preferred in textile/dyeing industry)

Salary: As per industry standards

Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth functioning of all mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment in the dyeing and processing unit
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines such as soft flow, jet dyeing, dryers, compactors, stenter, etc.
• Maintain records of machine servicing and repairs
• Coordinate with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
• Monitor and manage the availability of spare parts and consumables
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues promptly
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and internal standards
• Supervise junior maintenance staff and vendors

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in knit fabric dyeing/processing machinery
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle plant operations
