Job Description:

We are seeking a Purchase Executive (Packaging Materials) with 2–4 years of relevant experience in an Injectable Plant. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of primary and secondary packaging materials used for injectable products, and hands-on experience in procurement processes in a sterile manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of primary & secondary packaging materials specific to injectable products (vials, ampoules, rubber stoppers, flip-off seals, cartons, labels, etc.).
• Evaluate vendor quotations and ensure timely procurement in accordance with production schedules.
• Coordinate with the production, QA, and warehouse departments to forecast and plan material requirements.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Maintain and update approved vendor lists and purchase records.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and GMP guidelines for procurement in sterile environments.
• Follow up on pending orders and resolve any supply chain issues proactively.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2–4 years in a similar role in an Injectable Pharmaceutical Plant.
• Knowledge of packaging materials used in sterile injectable manufacturing is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of purchase order systems, vendor management, and ERP tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet procurement deadlines.

Preferred Candidate:

• Candidates with prior experience in pharma packaging material procurement only.
• Those who are currently or previously employed in injectable formulation plants.
